The Journey from Recruiting to Training to Retention
by Gregory Powell

Greg Powell A colleague of the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein once stated, "What a bunch of idiots the people hundreds of years ago must have been when they thought the Sun revolved around the Earth when everyone knows it's the other way around." To which Ludwig replied, "Yeah, but imagine what it would have looked like if the Sun had revolved around the Earth." The point being of course it would have looked exactly the same. We see what we want to see. Perceptions command reality.

Then, when the going gets tough we lose interest, motivation, and momentum and at the end of the year we're back to where we started. Source: SmartBlog on Leadership

The Millennials are Coming! The Millennials are Coming!

The oldest millennials are turning 36 in 2016. While prior generations would have typically been married and have tweens or teens by 36, the millennials got a later start. They embraced "adultolescence" - by economic necessity or by personal choice - and delayed the typical life milestones. At 36, though, they are ready to build for their futures. To become a sought-out, trusted advisor, you must prepare for this new type of client. Source: ThinkAdvisor
